Easy to program, but save that code number. You'll need to reprogram it several times a week. I don't know why this device loses its code, but without it the remote won't work.

When it's working, this remote works okay. I can operate the VCR, TV, and DVD player. I don't use the fourth option, DBS-Cable. I cannot access the TV's menu with the Menu button though. If you expect it to do all the things your lost remote did, it won't.

Channel buttons works well, as does the rewind and forward for the VCR and DVD.

For the money it provides a workable remote, but it's not for those who don't want to reprogram it all the time. If you really need to access your TV Menu to change color, hue, tint and all that other detailed stuff, look elsewhere for a remote. This one doesn't do that, at least not with my TV.
